In the spirit of Japanese seasonal beauty, yomimashou and I are going shopping for fall clothes this weekend, are going to eat our first yakiniku of fall (this actually has nothing to do with fall...), and last night, watched Fuji TV's Hey Hey Hey "What?! Seriously?! Hey Hey Hey Fall Live Broadcast Special." Despite its really awesome name, it was pretty entertaining XD;; Not nearly as much AKB overload as in the Kayou Kyoku summer special we watched back in August, and actually, Shimazaki Haruka, who played Fumie in Bakaleya and who is a non-senbatsu'd AKB member (research student? I know nothing about AKB) randomly appeared and got to dance with the top 16, or however it is that AKB works. Go Fumie! The Johnny's representatives in the show were Tackey and Tsubasa (promoting their ten year we-didn't-get-diorced-iversary) Domoto Kouichi (apparently it's Kinki Kids' 15th anniversary... but Tsuyoshi didn't feel like coming out?) and Sexy Zone (one year anniversary what what). Because they're determined to make the whole thing as awkward as possible, Sexy Zone performed their Summer/Christmas/being released in October upcoming single, which... is just unfortunate in many ways. So unfortunate that I pre-ordered it at Summary, in fact, in a stunning display of poor decision-making. Alas, such is life?
But something we noticed was that Fuma, who, let's face it, is the best singer by a far cry, didn't sing the opening solo, and when he got to his solo line, sounded... pretty bad. However, then, when the artists were all sitting down and watching/participating in the talk segments, we also noticed that his eyes and nose seemed a bit red, and he looked like he was breathing out his mouth... the poor baby had a cold! Or at least, that was all we could figure, but we felt really bad for him, since the Hey Hey Hey staff forced him then to sing and dance in the rain (;____;) However, we have been noticing recently that Fuma has begun smiling again! In the ongoing saga of Fuma-is-sad-Bakaleya-people-are-sad-ever
In terms of real life, tomorrow is the undoukai (sports day)! I've never experienced one of these before (seeing as I've never been a Japanese middle schooler before?) so we'll see how it is! And afterwards, I have my first teacher drinking party. I guess we'll see how that goes, too. I'll try to post about it here, as well as on my blog, which you can find at jetsetjoshu! *shameless plug*
On a final note... today's lunch is supposedly grilled fish with all the eyes and bones and all. We'll see if I even make it to the undoukai... if I have to survive lunch first.
