But it was a fun birthday! I also bought Christmas presents for my beloved baby sister! And ate Mexican and Thai food, as well as the new McDonald's burger. All in all, it was a good weekend, even if the play was supremely weird.

Your main fandom of the year?
Does JE count as its own fandom or do I have to pick a group? I guess if I do, then it's Hey! Say! JUMP. Even though I got into them in the latter half of 2011, they were essentially my go-to for 2012, and it was probably in 2012 that Chinen surpassed Jun for my #1 Johnny's idol. I also got to see them in a real arena concert for the first time in 2012, which was an amazing experience.
Your favorite album or song to listen to this year?
My favourite song of this year was probably Magic Power, spilling over from 2011. That song is really amazing and I still can't help but smile when I listen to it or see the PV. My favourite album... probably one Sexy Zone, embarrassingly. I really like all of their peppy bubblegum pop, as well as Fuma and Kento's solos on the album. So... whatever, I'm not ashamed!
Your favorite TV show of the year?
Hands down, Shiritsu Bakaleya Koukou. That drama was amazing in so many ways, from its engaging and well-developed female characters to its non-romantic friendships between boys and girls to its really outstanding way of handling real social issues, it was definitely one of the best dramas I've ever seen. The movie was also amazing, and I can't wait until it comes out on DVD!

Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Er, I guess that would be B.I.Shadow/Sexy Zone/Bakaleya-kumi. I was so reluctant to get into Sexy Zone at first, but... well, they won. XD; Really, it's just impossible for me not to love B.I.Shadow, because they're all such sweethearts (yes... even Kento and Hokuto), and I want all the best for Kento and Fuma, and their bandmates are adorable and hardworking as well, and I also want more than the best for Hokuto and Yugo, and the Bakaleya guys are all so great and have been patiently waiting their turn... basically, how can I not love them all?
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
The lack of debut for the Bakaleya boys. Enough said.
Your fandom boyfriend/girlfriend of the year?
Forgiving the awkward phrasing of this question, I guess I'd have to say Kouchi Yugo? I still love Chinen more than anything, but Yugo has practically been an obsession since September. He just deserves so much more love and support than he gets, and he's been through so much... my baby ;A;
Your biggest squee moment of the year?
Possibly seeing Yugo and Jesse as the livestage on Yan Yan JUMP singing Shake it Up as a duet. I think I screamed loud enough for my neighbors to hear.
Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?
The Sexy Zone concert at the beginning of January! I'll be taking my little sister, and I'm so excited. ♥
In final, unrelated news, today I did a special event called an ALT day at another junior high school in Kiryu. Basically, 4 or 5 ALTs visit another school and they do games with the kids rather than a regular English class. It was really fun, and the kids at the school I went to were great... but I was somewhat surprised when I gained a fan following of girls who would squeal "kawaiiiiii" whenever they saw me and even sometimes wanted to have a photo taken with me. XD; Japan is full of new adventures every day.
