５人のセクシーゾンしか興味ありません。

First of all, I'm sorry I haven't gotten to all the comments. Because it's the end of the term, I've been pretty busy with work and work obligations, but starting next week, it's summer break, and then I basically have all day every day with no schedule whatsoever! So then I'll be blissfully free. Or, even better, I'll be at my desk all day doing nothing, because yay Japanese school system. So that will make me focus on fic and fandom. Or something

But. In view of all of the crap that's been going down, I thought I'd post a link to this heartening twitter post. It almost brought tears to my eyes to read it. I'm sure that you can get the gist of it, but basically, the various hashtags say things like:
→ #JUMP fans support 5 member Sexy Zone
→ #NEWS fans only know 5 member Sexy Zone
→ #Johnny's West fans only know 5 member Sexy Zone
→ #Kanjani8 fans only know 5 member Sexy Zone
→ #Kisumai fans only know 5 member Sexy Zone
→ #Bakaleya fans only know 5 member Sexy Zone
→ #ABC-Z fans are only interested in 5 member Sexy Zone
→ #Jr. fans only know 5 member Sexy Zone
…and so on. I know it's just some hashtags on twitter, but I was amazed and really happy to see how everyone is getting behind Sexy Zone fans on this.

And now I'm off to bed. I promise I'll get back to all the comments as soon as possible!

all bureaucracy aside, it warms my heart to see fandom coming together during these tough times, because i've never considered each individual group its own fandom; we're all under the umbrella of j&a and we all go thru the same shit even if our favorites are different.

or, you know, maybe it's just gotten to the point where this has already happened to just about every group and other fans understand how it feels. regardless of the circumstances, losing a member or two is a big deal and i think everyone recognizes this by now. especially when it's the agency's decision and not the fault of the actual members.

we could have a pissing contest as to whose group has it worse until the end of time, but inevitably the feeling is the same, and that's why it's so important that we support each other right now. having been through this three times already, i'm more desensitized than anything, but i still remember how it felt...exactly four years ago when jin left kat-tun officially, wow. happy jinniversary to me. i wouldn't wish that pain and heartbreak on anyone, and now it's happened four times since.

That's definitely true. I do think there are some people who see all the groups as different and who judge other groups of fans but at the end of the day, it's really nice to see that everyone is here for one another in their time of need. And it's true that we all understand one another's struggles, so it's nice to see the level of empathy that everyone has in reaching out that way.

I hate seeing the "who has it worse" battles going on between groups because at the end of the day, something going wrong for one group is something that could go wrong for every group, so I'm really happy to see everyone supporting one another. And I'm really sorry for everything that you went through with KAT-TUN >__<'''

This is indeed very sweet :) I don't follow SZ that much but the recent announcement and all leaves me with many different thoughs...so it's always nice to see supporting messages like these :D

Awww, well I'm glad some people have their heads on straight ;~~; it's always nice to see fandom coming together across groups. Hopefully there will be enough backlash that it actually makes a difference... :

In Johnny's I doubt it will make any difference, but it's still nice to see, at any rate. It's comforting to know that in Johnny's, when one group has a problem, everyone backs them up.
