I guess it's not that exciting to see photos of the costumes rather than seeing them in person, but I do have a few observations and insights to add, so if you're interested, please check below the cut. ^^
The first location that we hit was Nagoya Tower Records on March 22, because we were in Nagoya for the NEWS concert. Most of the Tower Records we hit had used shiny plastic to enclose the costumes, making it really hard to get a good photo, but this was the best I could do:
Sonic Hunter and Doctor~ Some girls were there at the same time as us, and had the exact same reaction as us: "Chinen is so tiny!" "It's not Chinen, it's Doctor!" XD;;
Doctor! He was really tiny ♥ The Korosensei cap and gown outfits were pretty much all the same, but you could really tell who was super small in comparison XD;
Sonic Hunter! I'm so bothered by the fact that the eyepieces are red when everything else is pink |D;; It was really interesting to be able to see the different fabrics up close!
But the weapons looked so ridiculous in real life, omg. Like, super wimpy and plasticy. I wasn't at all surprised after seeing it by Hikaru's reaction to the boomerang in the PV making XD;;
Up next, we went to Tokyo the day before the Sexy Zone concert to check out the various Tokyo locations the following weekend! On March 28th, we hit the Shibuya Tsutaya, the Shibuya Tower Records, and the Shinjuku Tower Records. First up was the famous Tsutaya in Shibuya Crossing! I was really excited for this one because it had Inochan's costume. ♥
Commander and Geek! This location was the easiest to see, because they put the costumes in less reflective plastic, but it was also the most crowded, because Yamada's costume was there, so I don't have close-ups. Yamada's swords looked only slightly less stupid than Hikaru's boomerang |D;
The whole area that they had it set up in was really nice, though! Girls were taking photos with the picture of Sensations. |D;
We checked out the display that they had up for Korosensations on the way out (Tsutaya always has really fancy displays for new releases), and we noticed they cutely had all the members names put up around the video. Clockwise, you can see part of Rapid Fire, then Commander, Falcon Jr, Sonic Hunter, Geek, Scope, and Doctor!
It also made me laugh that they had a note that said "It's probably Hey! Say! JUMP… but what do you think?" |D;
Next we popped two blocks down to see the costumes in the Shibuya Tower Records~ They awkwardly had them in a corner by the stairs where lots of people were walking by and it was really cramped and the plastic was reflective, but I managed to get a few photos anyway.
Bullet and Scope!
Bullet! Yuto is so huge omfg. His shoulders are so broad! I'm still trying to figure out why his guns have a rectangular barrel |D;;;
Scope~ Also tall, but also really skinny. XD;
Last for the day, we hit the Shinjuku Tower records, and discovered for the first time that there were "Photography Prohibited" signs XD Needless to say, girls were taking photos anyway, so… we helped ourselves. |D;;
The dimensions of the photo are a bit weird because I used my silent camera (you can't turn the shutter sound off of the built-in camera in any Japanese phone), but! Doctor and Rapid Fire!
Doctor! Chinen really is ridiculously tiny. Also, his body is the cutest shape; unlike Yuto who's a big triangle, Chinen is really an hourglass. ♥
Rapid Fire! Takaki has the best body. ♥ It was interesting how the different cases and mannequins gave a different idea of what the costumes looked like on the guys, but you could still at least get a good idea of their body type from it.
And then lastly, after the Sexy Zone concert in Yokohama, we checked out the Shinseido in Yokohama Station to see the last two Kantou region costumes.
These costumes were the absolute hardest to photograph because they had shiny plastic, were in a tiny area, were separated from one another (back to back), and had "No Photography" signs. I'm honestly not sure how this store got picked, because it was really small in general, but I did what I could. XD It was hard to tell how tiny Daiki is, because he's on a platform, sadly. However, his shurikens won the 'most impressive looking fake weapon' award out of the whole group XD;
britkit27, my group of friends' resident Keito-tan, tried valiantly to compare her height to Keito's, but sadly, it was pretty difficult. |D;;;
And with that, we managed to see at least one costume for every member of
